Persistent cognitive impairment after ICU stay associated with modifiable risk factors

Patients treated for syncope have similar motor vehicle crash risk as other ED patients
Patients treated in an ED for syncope had a crash rate of 12.2 per 100 driver-years, compared to 13.2 in patients treated in the ED for other conditions and 8.2 in the general population, a retrospective study in Canada found.
