Inpatient mortality from major bleeds lower in patients on DOACs than warfarin
Intracranial hemorrhages, especially subdural hematomas, comprised a higher proportion of major bleeding in patients on warfarin, while those on direct oral anticoagulants (DOACs) had a higher proportion of gastrointestinal bleeds.

Restarting anticoagulation after intracerebral hemorrhage associated with lower thromboembolic risk
